Aldea Global is an association of smallhold farmers which facilitates access to credit, tools, annd training for farmers and offers support for women to secure land ownership and leadership roles in Northern Nicaragua. The cooperative, which began with just 22 farmers, is now supporting almost eight thousand. The association focuses on environmental conservation, gender equality and social impact and have increased their sales revenue at a compound annual growth rate of 38% over the past three years.
